Shaun McManus wins Junior Footballer of the Year
The Under 17’s competition is created with East Fremantle clubs and South Fremantle clubs and becomes known as the Fremantle District Football League. The aim of this league is to allow a closer liaison with the WAFL Colts and encourage the flow on of young footballers.

Under 14s 4 players represent the club in the EFFC Combined “Shark Pack” Shaun McManus, Dion Palumbo, Bradley Dodd and Stewart Egan. McManus is named caption of the Shark Pack.

Marshall Stockden is recruited to East Fremantle and plays 150 games for the Sharks from 1992-2002. He kicks 118 goals in his career and earns 28 Sandover medal votes including 9 votes in both 1998 and 1999. 1996-6, 1997-1, 2000-3. Stockden plays in the 1999 WA State team that defeats Tasmania in Kalgoorlie by 58 points, kicking 1 goal on the day.
Ashley Clementi is recruited by South Fremantle and plays 34 league games between 1992 and 1994. He kicks 27 career goals and earns 5 Sandover Medal votes in 1992.
